Musings on.....being rear ended

Such a crazy week. Yesterday morning, after I dropped my daughter off at school, I got rear ended. I was at a stop, getting ready to turn onto my street, and WHAM I got hit from the back. So many things could have happened. Paget or Blake could have been in the car. Bosco could have been in the car. There could have been another car in front of me. I could have been turning and then forced into oncoming traffic. The impact was hard and I never saw it coming. She must have been going 40 miles per hour. I saw grey and my glasses flew off my face. I looked back and saw the other car. I was able to drive off to the side and then I got out to check on the other driver. That's when I realized I was wearing my pajama pants. I never wear my pajama pants...I am always dressed...except for today. She was shaken, but not hurt. Unfortunately her car looked totaled. We both said with some remorse that our cars had been payed off. I think we both suffered the same injuries...whiplash, seat belt bruise, sore muscles, etc. I got back into may car and made all the necessary calls...also I did not want to be standing outside in my pajamas! I worried that the officer was going to get me for not getting my Oregon driver's license yet, but she gave the ticket o the other driver. I'm still waiting to hear about my car. The bumper was hanging off and scraping on the tires. Also the passenger side airbag compartment looks like a Jack in The Box...could go off at any moment. Don't know what else could be wrong. We will see what they have to say.

In the mean time....I'm driving a really big pick up truck!
